We are introducing our aged Caciotta from January 2019 (was patiently waiting for its time in our sacred cheese room). It’s absolutely delicious and has developed a fantastic flavor.
Even lighter in color compared to 2020. Great for true cheese lovers to have it with great vino. Don’t forget to let the cheese breeze for half-our. Definitely deserves its special place on a cheeseboard!!!!
About Caciotta: cheese is a semi-soft, fresh cheese with a compact, firm, yet creamy texture.
It has a mild, milky, sweet, and tangy flavor unique to caciotta cheese made solely from whole sheep’s milk. The name, Caciotta, is derived from the Latin word “cacio,” meaning “cheese.”
