Secret Lands Farm
Rooted in Tradition. Committed to Quality.
Nestled just south of Owen Sound, Ontario, our family-run sheep dairy farm is a labour of love and tradition.
Since purchasing our land in 2013, we’ve proudly nurtured over 400 sheep on lush, pesticide-free pastures. This sustainable approach not only supports the health of our animals but also ensures the purity of every product we create.
Blending modern techniques with time-honoured European family traditions, we craft a selection of hormone-free dairy products, artisanal cheeses, and meats — all made in small batches using only our own sheep’s milk.
With fresh well water, clean air, and a hands-on approach from pasture to packaging, we maintain full control over the quality, flavour, and nutritional integrity of everything we offer.

I love that you are very invested in the welfare of your animals.

Our three Pillars
When the Luxury of Handcrafted Art becomes the Luxury of Healthy Living.
Farm Philosophy
At Secret Lands Farm, we believe in the deep connection between the land, animals, and people
We know that human health begins with the health of the land
Clean water, fresh air, and nutrient-rich soil are essential. We never use pesticides or herbicides, and sheep manure is used solely as natural fertilizer.
Milk Philosophy
Healthy animals are the foundation of high-quality milk — and we believe sheep’s milk is among the most beneficial for human health
Our sheep are 100% pasture-raised and grass-fed, with no silos in their diet. They are free from antibiotics and hormones
We raise purebred East Friesian sheep, known worldwide for producing milk of exceptional quality.
Cheese Philosophy
As a small-batch farmstead, we oversee every step of production — from grazing and milking to cheesemaking and packaging — all done right here on our farm
We are using Lamb Rennet only from France because it is not genetically modified and is an essential ingredient in traditional cheesemaking.
Inspired by David Asher’s raw milk methods, we use Kefir as a natural starter culture in all our cheeses. We are proud to be the only Canadian farm using this technique
